Word at the Partner Launch Events was that Microsoft would be offering a 120-day evaluation of CRM 3.0 in order to spur sales efforts. While we would like to get our hands on this today for our prospects, I was just informed by MS that the CRM product management team is not expecting to release this until sometime in Q1 2006, with no fixed date. This will be a big help to partners selling to smaller businesses, so hopefully Microsoft won't drag their feet on this!
